President Barack Obama given customised Nike trainers

President Barack Obama is given a pair of custom-made Nike Air Jordan trainers following his recent trip to the company's headquarters.

President Barack Obama has been handed a gift by global sportswear giants Nike in the form of a pair of custom-made trainers.

The 53-year-old visited the company's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon last week and in return was handed a pair of new Air Jordan 11Lab4s, which cost around $250 (£159), according to sportingnews.com.

This particular pair had the presidential seal put on the tongue, instead of the usual Jumpman logo, and were also sent to the politician in a presidential box.
