Report: Darrelle Revis to join New England Patriots at White House

Darrelle Revis expects to visit the White House with his former New England Patriots teammates, according to reports.

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis will reportedly rejoin his former teammates for their trip to the White House next Thursday.

The traditional Super Bowl celebration sees US president Barack Obama host the New England Patriots this year after they defeated the Seattle Seahawks back in February.

It is expected to be a tense reunion given that both the Jets and Patriots have been handed tampering charges after the tug-of-war over Revis.

The AFC East rivals exchanged words through the media as the Super Bowl winner signed a five-year deal with the Jets.

Revis said that the decision to leave New England for the Jets this off-season was a "no-brainer" after the Patriots decided not to exercise his option.
