Former world number one golfer Rory McIlroy has reportedly settled his legal dispute with his former sponsor Oakley.
The Northern Irishman had legal action taken against him by the American sportswear company after he switched to new sponsors Nike in January.
Oakley argued that they had the right to match any improved agreement with another company in a bid to retain their sponsorship deal.
According to the Daily Mail, a statement was released on behalf of McIlroy saying that the claims have been "amicably settled".
The sportsman, who is also in a legal battle with his former management company Horizon Sports Management, is said to be "delighted" that the matter with Oakley has reached a conclusion.
