Andy Murray's mother Judy has admitted that she can't wait to become a grandmother, just days after her tennis star son married girlfriend Kim Sears.
The Scotsman tied the knot with his partner of nine years at a ceremony in his hometown of Dunblane last Saturday.
While Judy has insisted that she wants the two-time Grand Slam champion to have kids, she believes that plans will be put on hold until after Wimbledon this summer.
"I'm really looking forward to being a granny," Judy told Closer magazine. "I've always wanted to have grandchildren but I had to be patient and let them get married first.
"I'm not sure when they will have kids as Andy has the French Open followed by Wimbledon, but I know he wants them. I will be a very active granny, that's for sure, and I can't wait to introduce them to tennis."
Murray revealed prior to the wedding that the couple will not go on honeymoon until the end of the year.
