Marketing experts expect Tiger Woods's earnings to drop because he's 'unlikeable'

Marketing experts believe that Tiger Woods will struggle to keep up his earnings away from golf because he's 'not likeable'

Marketing experts believe that Tiger Woods will struggle to keep up his fortune away from the golf course because he is 'unlikeable'.

The 39-year-old has decided to take a break from the sport due to back problems that have plagued his progress in the field.

Back in 2009, Woods's popularity fell after a string of women claimed that they had slept with the golfer while he was married to ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

Marketing expert of Revolution Sports Rod Kohler is quoted by the Daily Star as saying said: "David Beckham is probably earning equal money now to what he did when he was playing, probably purely from endorsements and deals.

"Woods and Beckham are very different. People find it difficult to like Tiger Woods so I think it will be hard for him to keep earning that level of money."

Woods has not won a Major since 2009.
