Dereck Chisora was involved in an altercation with world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko last weekend during a holiday in Ibiza.
Chisora reportedly confronted the Ukrainian in a nightclub on the Spanish holiday island, with the two men pulled apart by a team of bouncers soon after.
Klitschko infamously had water spat in his face by Chisora last year, just moments before his brother Vitali's world title defence against the British heavyweight.
Chisora's trainer Don Charles has confirmed that the heavyweights exchanged words in the nightclub, adding that their chance meeting in Ibiza was purely a coincidence.
He told The Mirror: "They have history but it was purely a coincidence that they bumped into each other during their holidays."
The 29-year-old recently insisted that he wants another shot at the Klitschkos after stopping American contender Malik Scott at Wembley Arena earlier this month.
