A waxwork model of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has been taken down from the front window of a museum in California.
The San Francisco Wax Museum decided to move the life-size model of the 41-year-old, who recently admitted in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he took performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career, because he is no longer 'news-worthy'.
"He doesn't seem to be at the top of the news recently," SFweekly quotes museum curator Curtis Huber as saying. "He may have fallen from grace, but he is still a worthy figure for us. We're not doing just the good guys."
The waxwork, which has been moved back to the 'sports heroes' section has since been replaced by popstar Beyonce, who will perform in the half-time show in Sunday's Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens.
