Online petitions have been created to try to get retired boxer Mike Tyson booted off an episode of Law And Order: Special Victims Unit.
The 46-year-old, who has previously been convicted of rape, has been cast by the US crime series to play a Death Row prisoner, who was the victim of abuse when he was a child.
A hoard of campaigners have expressed their anger at Tyson being able to appear on the show, which focuses on sexual offence cases, due to his criminal past.
The American fighter was handed a six-year prison sentence for raping 18-year-old model Desiree Washington in 1992.
