Ben Affleck, Matt Damon to produce film about FIFA corruption scandal?

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reportedly agree to produce a new film focusing on Chuck Blazer's role in the FIFA corruption scandal.

Hollywood A-listers Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have reportedly agreed to produce a film about the FIFA corruption scandal.

The piece will be based on the unpublished book Houses of Deceit, which focuses on former FIFA executive Chuck Blazer, by Buzzfeed investigative journalist Ken Bensinger.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros recently won the film rights to the book following eight days of negotiations and Gavin O'Connor is expected to direct, with Anthony Tambakis rumoured to have signed on as scriptwriter.

Blazer, who went 'undercover' for the FBI to expose alleged corrupt activity in football's world governing body, pleaded guilty to 10 charges, including bribery, money laundering and tax evasion, in 2013.
