Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he felt fresh the morning after his title celebrations because he "only had one drink".
The Brit secured the second championship crown of his career on Sunday by winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ahead of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg.
In this morning's press conference, Hamilton revealed that he had dinner with his friends and family before joining the party with his team and Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, who he claimed was a little bit worse for wear.
"I popped out to the party and Toto was all over the place at that point!" Hamilton joked with reporters. "We left the party quite early, particularly as we had this press conference – I didn't suggest this early!
"I don't know why it's so early, but Toto is definitely feeling it way more than I am. I feel fresh. I only had one drink last night, which is more than good enough for me."
Hamilton's girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger also joined in the celebrations in Abu Dhabi.
