Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs take part in Cafe Football cook-off

Former Manchester United teammates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs take part in a cook-off ahead of the official launch of their restaurant Cafe Football in London.

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville and current player-coach Ryan Giggs took part in a cook-off ahead of the official launch of their restaurant Cafe Football.

The pair took to the kitchen in the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London for a head-to-head cooking challenge.

The duo showed off three of the restaurant's signature dishes - Nev's Noodle Pot, Wignall's Halftime Orange and the Chocolate Pistachio Turf, alongside executive chef Brendan Fyldes and two-starred Michelin chef Michael Wignall.

"The cook-off was the perfect opportunity for shoppers at Westfield Stratford City to see exactly what we have planned for Cafe Football," the Daily Mail quotes Neville as saying. "The signature dishes we cooked capture the essence of what Cafe Football has to offer."

The venue will open to the public in December.
