Jose Mourinho is to manage the England side as planned at this weekend's charity Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford.
Reports on Thursday had suggested that the Portuguese had decided to pull out of the event following his appointment as Manchester United manager over fears that his presence in the dugout might overshadow the occasion.
"He signed up for this some time ago and there's no way he'd let the charity down at this late stage," a source told The Mirror. "He will be there, as manager."
Mourinho will be assisted by Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce as they manage an England side featuring the likes of Phil Neville, Jamie Carragher and Robbie Williams.
Meanwhile, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri will oversee a 'Rest of the World' side that includes Ronaldinho, Cafu and One Direction's Niall Horan.
