Manchester United's club-record signing Juan Mata has been spotted looking for a new home an upmarket area of Cheshire.

The Spaniard made a £37m switch to Old Trafford from Chelsea last weekend.

After making his debut in United's 2-0 win over Cardiff City on Tuesday, Mata has been photographed house-hunting.

In pictures published by the Daily Mail, the midfielder, who has degrees in marketing and sport science, was seen with a small group looking at homes in the area, which holds properties in the region of £3m.
