Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair has reportedly been stopped by police for speeding following a row with his girlfriend Helen Flanagan.

The ex-Swansea City star is believed to have been dumped by the former Coronation Street actress after reports emerged that he had sent flirty text messages to celebrity interviewer Donatella Panayiotou.

Both Sinclair, who was driving a Ferrari, and Flanagan were caught speeding within half an hour of one another, according to The Sun.

The pair are expected to receive fines and three points on their licences.
