Manchester City reportedly withdraw their policy of giving employees two free season tickets.

Manchester City have reportedly ended the tradition of offering two free season tickets to staff at the club.

The former Premier League champions are said to have sent a letter to each employee explaining the changes, stating that workers may have to buy tickets for half price in future campaigns.

"It has created a lot of unrest and I know a lot of people who have worked there years who are now contemplating leaving because of it," an anonymous employee told the Manchester Evening News.

"We always got two free season tickets which we all classed as part of our salaries. But now we have been told that we can still have two tickets but we will have to pay 50% of the standard price for them. It's disgraceful and no way to treat staff. It's a betrayal."

City are yet to announce a new manager following the sacking of Roberto Mancini.
