Manchester City and Spain midfielder David Silva has announced that his prematurely-born child has been released from hospital.
The 32-year-old has missed numerous games for the Citizens since Christmas - with Pep Guardiola's blessing - in order to visit son Mateo in Spain.
Silva was allowed to miss Man City's Premier League title parade so that he could return to his homeland and, on Tuesday, the Spaniard was able to inform his fans of the good news.
"We're finally going home," Silva wrote on Twitter.
"We will be forever grateful to the Maternity and Pediatric ICU team at the Casa de Salud Hospital for their professionalism and compassion over these five long months. Quite simply, thank you!"
