Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is reportedly suing former side Swansea City and an ex-agent over £8m in lost earnings.

Stoke City striker Wilfried Bony is reportedly suing his former side Swansea City and ex-agent Francis Kacou over an alleged £8m in lost earnings.

According to the Daily Mail, the 28-year-old - currently on loan with the Potters from Manchester City - has accused Kacou of taking cash without his authorisation when he moved to the Liberty from Vitesse in 2013, then again two years later when he switched to City.

Bony is also alleging that Swansea knew about the agreement, but the Welsh side have denied the accusations and agreed to have the case heard under arbitration.

A Swansea spokesman told the newspaper: "This is a matter between Wilfried Bony and his former representatives. Unfortunately we have been drawn into the matter as we were involved in two of his transfers; firstly bringing him to the club and then his move to Manchester City."

Bony first moved to Swansea for £12m but was then sold to City for a reported fee of £25m plus add-ons.
