Crystal Palace warn fans buying from ticket touts ahead of Liverpool clash

Crystal Palace warn fans against purchasing tickets for Monday night's clash against Liverpool from various websites.

Crystal Palace have released a statement warning fans that they could be refused entry to Selhurst Park on Monday evening if they have purchased match tickets from a third party.

A number of websites have put tickets for the crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool up for sale, but Palace have insisted that they do not work with other companies.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Crystal Palace Football Club retain the right to resell or transfer tickets - we are not affiliated to any third party sellers/websites.

"Should tickets be found in the possession of supporters that have not purchased directly from us, then the club reserves the right to make that ticket void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the stadium.

"The original owner of the ticket may also face a possible ban from the club. This applies to season ticket holders and members."

The match could prove to be vital for Liverpool's title chances should rivals Manchester City slip up against Everton at the weekend.
