Liverpool, Manchester City tickets 'being sold for up to £5,000 a pair'

Online touts are reportedly selling tickets for the clash between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield for almost £5,000 a pair.

Tickets to this Sunday's crucial Premier League title clash between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield are reportedly being sold for almost £5,000 a pair online.

Touts are said to be targeting fans desperate to be in attendance for the match, which could prove to be a title-deciding encounter.

According to the Liverpool Echo, a seat in the ground's lower Centenary Stand is on sale for £2,453.14, while a ticket in the Kop end has been given a £795 price tag.

Reports have claimed that the lowest ticket price on offer is an away seat, which could be scooped up by a City fan for £430.

The Category A match carried a face value ticket price of £44 to £52, but all seats were sold out within one minute of going on general sale.
