Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has told outgoing Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard not to be "alarmed" by the sunny weather when he moves to Los Angeles next month.
The Jurassic World star offered his tongue-in-cheek advice ahead of Gerrard's move to MLS side LA Galaxy.
The midfielder has closed the curtain on a 17-year career at Liverpool and is preparing to move across the pond after spending his entire life so far on Merseyside.
When asked by Match of the Day magazine if he had any advice for Gerrard, Pratt said: "I tell you what, Steven, if you're coming to LA, once you get there you're going to see a ball of fire in the sky. Do not be alarmed, it's called the sun.
"It's not going to kill you. It's just going to mean great weather all the time. Enjoy yourself, buddy. Look me up when you get there and I'll buy you a drink."
Meanwhile, BT Sport announced on Tuesday that Gerrard will join the broadcaster as a pundit for next season's Champions League coverage.
