Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has had a new tattoo put on his knuckles to show his devotion to the Merseyside club.

The Denmark international has had the initials from Liverpool's famous anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' tattooed on the knuckles of his right hand.

"I'd thought about it for a long time," Agger told the club's official website. "As I said, I feel a part of this club and I feel a part of this city. I have been here so long now, so it was an easy decision. I am proud to be here and I think my knuckles show that."

Agger, who joined the Premier League outfit in 2006, signed a new contract at Anfield earlier this month.
