Former Leeds United and England defender Norman Hunter has revealed that he plans to sell off his medals at an auction.
The 69-year-old will allow the public to bid on his two league title honours he clinched with Leeds, his FA Cup, Fair Cup winner's medals as well as a selection of his 28 England caps.
"I'm 70 next birthday and I can't see the point in having them sitting in the loft," The Sun quotes Hunter as saying.
"This isn't being done for financial reasons. I want them to be bought by people who can get some pleasure out of them. I'll still have the memories."
The auction is due to go ahead in Leeds this March.
