Tom Daley's Splash! becomes the most-watched TV programme on Saturday night, despite negative reviews.

The second episode of reality show Splash! was the most-watched TV programme on Saturday night, despite receiving poor reviews from critics.

The show, which pits celebrities against each other in various diving challenges, is fronted by Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley.

Despite the negative reaction to the first episode, the second live show raked in 5.15m viewers and overtook the figures of BBC One rival show Britain's Brightest.

Daley was criticised by British Swimming chief executive David Sparkes for his role on the programme.
