Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins has revealed that she received death threats following rumours that she had slept with Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham.
The father of four was alleged to have cheated on wife Victoria with the songstress, which prompted the former England captain to deny the speculation.
"I was actually getting months of people saying [the rumours] to me on Twitter and calling my friends and asking if it was true," said Jenkins.
"I was getting death threats before I spoke about it. You wouldn't believe how crazy and out of control it was getting."
Jenkins split from her fiance Gethin Jones last December.
