Pot Noodle offered Steven Gerrard a lifetime supply of its new sausage casserole flavour before the midfielder flew out to Los Angeles at the weekend.
The former Liverpool midfielder has touched down in the United States ahead of his July 11 debut for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.
Before boarding his flight, Pot Noodle sent a delivery man to Heathrow airport with a crate of goods.
Pot Noodle brand manager Kelly Wright said: "We wanted to give Steven a little taste of home at a time when we're sure he'll be feeling quite nostalgic and nothing reminds you more of home than sausage casserole."
Gerrard has agreed an 18-month deal with LA Galaxy.
