Danny Williams not bothered by penis exposure

Huddersfield Town midfielder Danny Williams says that his accidental penis exposure to millions of TV viewers around the globe did not faze him.

Huddersfield Town midfielder Danny Williams has said that he is not bothered by a slip-up that saw his penis inadvertently broadcast to millions of TV viewers around the world.

The 29-year-old accidentally exposed his genitals as he rearranged his shorts during the Terriers' 4-1 home victory over Bournemouth last month - an incident that was caught on camera during TV coverage of the game.

Footage of Williams's exposure then went viral, with teammate Elias Kachunga branding him 'The Horse', but the American insists that he is "not shy" and was unfazed by what happened.

"That is not important, it is a mistake and an accident," he is quoted as saying by The Sun. "I am not a cameraman. He chose to zoom in on David [Wagner]'s face, while I was getting my pants right, that's just what happened.

"There are so many things that have happened for me personally that it doesn't bother me at all. I think the country had a big laugh. That is just what it is, but I think we can move forward.

"I am not a shy guy; it happened. That's in the past but we've already showed lots of character and we're all hungry to stay up. I know how hard I've worked over the last four years to get to this position and I'm sure other players have done the same thing.

"When you're finally in the Premier League, you want to make sure that at the end you can look yourself in the mirror and say, 'Whatever happens, fair dos. We did the best we could'."

Williams has featured in 19 of Huddersfield's 30 league games so far this season, having joined the side from Reading last summer.
