Gloucester Rugby end sponsorship deal with Jewson

Gloucester Rugby announce that sponsor Jewson will not renew their contract with the Aviva Premiership club.

Gloucester Rugby have announced that they will no longer be sponsored by building materials company Jewson.

The Aviva Premiership club spent a five-year partnership with the company but it has been confirmed that they will not be renewing their sponsorship for 2013.

"Jewson have been fantastic partners for us here at Gloucester Rugby over the past six seasons," said Gloucester's managing director Stephen Vaughan.

"They've been terrific to work with, and played a big role in the club's development in recent times. Although it's sad that they will no longer be our main sponsor from next season, we're parting on good terms and wish them every success in the future."

The club have confirmed that they are in negotiations with a number of potential new main sponsors.
