Kevin Pietersen has revealed that his wife Jessica Taylor is due to give birth to their second child next month.

The cricketer, who was dropped by England last year, spoke of the imminent arrival while on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.

The couple, who got married in December 2007, are already parents to five-year-old son Dylan.

On Twitter, Taylor, who is one fifth of pop band Liberty X, thanked well-wishers, admitting: "Not sure I'm ready for those sleepless nights again! x"

The singer also revealed that the couple were not keeping the pregnancy a secret, but had not decided to make an announcement.
