Lancashire County Cricket Club have confirmed that Barmy Army trumpeter Billy Cooper will be allowed to attend the third Ashes Test at Old Trafford.
The musician, commonly known as "Billy the Trumpet", was not allowed to attend the opening contest, as Trent Bridge has a longstanding ban on musical instruments.
A statement from Lancashire said: "Billy The Trumpet has been at Emirates Old Trafford on previous occasions and we look forward to seeing him for the Third Investec Test next month.
"We have worked previously with the Barmy Army and they are conscientious of spectators around them. They will help to foster a great atmosphere."
Cooper will also miss next week's Test at Lord's because of a similar rule at the Middlesex ground.
Former England captain Andrew Flintoff and batsman Kevin Pietersen both took to Twitter in support of the trumpeter.
