Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has marked the eve of winning his 100th cap for England by posing with 99 students to recreate the famous Bobby Moore photo.

The 32-year-old will reach the milestone and become the sixth centurion for the Three Lions in tomorrow's friendly against Sweden.

Gerrard returned to Huyton-with-Roby Church, where he went to school, to pose for a photograph with the school children, who each wore one of Gerrard's 99 caps.

The midfielder has mirrored the original photo of Moore from 1973.
