Cleveland Browns fan posts online advert for new quarterback

A Cleveland Browns fan posts an advert online in a bid to find the team a new quarterback.

A Cleveland Browns fan has posted an advert on classifieds website Craigslist seeking a new quarterback for the team.

Brandon Weeden has started three games for the team this season, resulting in three defeats, while Brian Hoyer is out for the rest of the year with a knee injury.

The advert, placed by graduate student Seth Pae, said: "Have you played pro football? College ball? High school? Pee-wee? Have you played Madden before? Do you know some of the rules of football? If yes, keep reading. And if no? Well also keep reading! We will take ANYONE!"

The Browns have not reached the playoffs since 2002.
