Leon Knight suspended from Twitter, investigated by police

Former Chelsea striker Leon Knight has his Twitter account suspended and is being investigated by police after allegedly attempting to launch a 'Slag Alert Pictures' campaign.

Former Chelsea striker Leon Knight has had his Twitter account suspended and is being investigated by police.

Knight allegedly attempted to launch a campaign called 'Slag Alert Pictures', where the 29-year-old would encourage men to send in raunchy pictures of ex-girlfriends for him to publish on the site.

Knight is also alleged to have given himself the moniker 'Leon Knight: Foe to the Hoe' and announced the campaign by saying "It's judgement day bitches".

Following his Twitter account being suspended, Knight's Wikipedia page was also altered, reading: "Leon Knight is a 29-year-old ex-footballer who now sits at home on benefits in his undies eating pot noodle butties and bullying girls on the internet."

The incident is the latest in a long line of social media controversies involving Knight, who was sacked by Glentoran for alleged homophobic remarks on Twitter. He has also launched scathing attacks on Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara and his wife Danielle Lloyd, as well as boxers Paulie Malignaggi and Amir Kahn.
