Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas has been swept up in a legal battle involving his girlfriend Daniella Semaan and her ex-husband Elie Taktouk.
The 38-year-old, who recently gave birth to the former Arsenal player's daughter, is trying to battle her ex-husband for their £7m home in London.
Semaan is believed to have told judges that Fabregas does not provide her with much financial support, which prompted the authorities to order Taktouk to sell the flat and give his ex-wife £1.4m to purchase a new home.
Despite the ruling, the 38-year-old property tycoon has hit back by claiming that a company, controlled by Fabregas, was trying to ensure that Semaan pocketed extra cash as well as the flat by making a £5.4m bid on the property, according to The Independent.
Taktouk is thought to own properties in Chelsea and Kensington.
