Valentino Rossi has claimed that winning the MotoGP world title next season is not an "impossible" target.
The 35-year-old, who has scooped seven championships in his career, finished second with Yamaha behind title winner Marc Marquez.
"I think next year will not be impossible, it is the target," Autosport.com quotes Rossi as saying. "I say that because we can improve from this year to next year.
"Already the work has started, during all this season from the last test of last season. We demonstrated good potential already."
Rossi last won the championship back in 2009.
