Movistar Yamaha driver Jorge Lorenzo equalled Casey Stoner's record 38 MotoGP victories by winning at Brno almost a fortnight ago.
The 28-year-old Spaniard currently tops the overall standings, but is on equal points with teammate Valentino Rossi.
Following Lorenzo's triumph in the Czech Republic, the rider joined Stoner in having 38 wins at premier-class grand prix level.
Mick Doohan, Giacomo Agostini and Rossi are the only three riders to have earned more triumphs than the current MotoGP leader.
The season will continue this weekend in the British GP at Silverstone.
