British gymnast Nile Wilson has expressed his determination to earn more success following a "brilliant year".
The 18-year-old won five European junior gold medals earlier this year, as well as two senior titles in the high bar and team finals at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in the summer.
At the World Championships in Nanning, China, the teenager was forced to drop out of the all-around final due to a wrist injury, but managed to finish fourth in the high bar final.
"It was definitely the right decision to not do the all-around - the extra few days have helped me," Wilson told BBC Sport. "It's been a brilliant year. To come fourth is unbelievable and it just makes me want to work even harder."
Wilson's fellow Brit Max Whitlock replaced him in the all-around final and went on to scoop a silver medal.
