Georgina Hockenhull hopes for gymnastics success in Baku following driving test pass

Great Britain gymnast Georgina Hockenhull aims to "go clean" at the European Games in Baku and follow up her driving test success.

Great Britain gymnast Georgina Hockenhull has spoken of her aim of 'going clean' at the European Games and follow her driving test success.

The Baku tournament is the 18-year-old's second multi-sport competition after the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last year.

Hockenhull made comparisons between her driving test - which she passed at the second attempt - and gymnastic competition.

She told reporters in Baku: "I was really nervous on the first try, so I kept making mistakes. Then for the second one I was much calmer.

"For the second time I thought of it more as a competition, so I did the same breathing techniques and things I would for that.

"I haven't really thought about [goals in Baku]. In the team event, we just want to go clean."

Hockenhull won two bronze medals for Wales at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
