Tiger Woods has fallen two shots off the pace with a third-round 68 as Jason Gore takes a slender lead into the final day of the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.
Overnight co-leader Woods, who had rolled back the years with a 64 and 65 in the first two rounds, failed to replicate that form as he finished Saturday's session on 13-under-par.
The 14-time Major winner, who sank three birdies in total, looked on course for a bogey-free round but a five on the par-four 18th slightly dented his hopes of a first PGA Tour win since 2013.
He needs to win the competition in order to qualify for the Fedex Cup playoffs, or finish second and rely on other players to book his spot.
Meanwhile, Gore boosted his hopes of a first Tour title since September 2005 by carding a third-round 62 to finish the day on 15-under-par.
Jonas Blixt - who also shot 62 - is level with Woods and Scott Brown on 13-under, while England's Paul Casey is one of five players on 12-under.
