Kevin Stadler opens up a four-shot lead at the end of the third round of the Open de France.

Kevin Stadler has opened up a four-shot lead after the third round of the Open de France in Paris.

Despite scoring a one-over round of 72 on Saturday, the American extended his overnight lead by one shot to finish on nine-under overall.

Stadler made one bogey during the opening nine holes before hitting a birdie and a bogey on the back nine.

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee will start the final round on five-under alongside France's Victor Riu, while Martin Kaymer of Germany ended the day on three-under.

Englishman Matthew Baldwin is on two-under, and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell is among five players who will head into Sunday on one-under.
