Six tie for lead in OHL Classic

Robert Garrigus joins five other players in carding a 65 to earn a share of the lead in the OHL Classic.

Robert Garrigus was one of six players to shoot a 65 on the opening day of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

On a day when accuracy off the tee was vital, Garrigus was consistent on his way to reaching six-under-par, but he finished the day with plenty of company at the top of the leaderboard.

Will MacKenzie, Steve Wheatcroft, Hudson Swafford, Tony Finau and Daniel Berger, who is playing in just his sixth PGA tour event, all carded 65s to earn a share of the lead.

Former US Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III is in a 14-man group sitting one shot behind the leaders, with the likes of Aaron Baddeley and Charley Hoffman joining him on five-under.
