Brooks Koepka has carded a six-under-par 64 to join Ryan Palmer and Greg Owen at the top of the leaderboard on day one of the St Jude Classic.
Koepka recorded eight birdies and two bogeys, while Owen produced his best round of the year to claim a share of the lead in Memphis.
Three-time PGA Tour winner Palmer was among the players on the course in the afternoon, and he impressed with a bogey-free round which included six birdies.
Many of the world's top players are taking a break ahead of next week's US Open, but Phil Mickelson is in action and finished the day four strokes behind the leaders.
Scott Brown, Steven Alker, Brian Davis and Richard Sterne are a shot off the lead, while defending champion Ben Crane shot a 66.
