Home favourite Victor Dubuisson is one of three players on three-under following a day of weather disruption at the French Open.

Home favourite Victor Dubuisson shares the lead with two other golfers at the French Open at the end of round one.

The Frenchman, Austria's Bernd Wiesberger and Jaco Van Zyl of South Africa posted three-under scores of 68 on a day that was heavily disrupted by thunderstorms.

Germany's Max Kieffer led the way when the weather first intervened, after carding four-under through 14 holes thanks to three birdies in four holes from the ninth.

Former world number one Martin Kaymer, who won the tournament in 2009, is among the chasing pack after round one, coming in on two-under 69.

Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell, who is seeking a hat-trick of French Open titles, was on one-over with one hole remaining, but a pair of late birdies keeps him in contention.
