Marc Warren has played down suggestions that winning the Made in Denmark tournament on Sunday will see him selected for Europe in the upcoming Ryder Cup.
Warren carded a final-round 68 to claim victory in Aalborg on nine-under par and seal his first European Tour title for seven years.
The 33-year-old's cheque for £150,000 helps him move 20th in the Race to Dubai and 23rd in the Ryder Cup points list, but the Scot expects to miss out on captain Paul McGinley's selection.
"That's not really in my thinking," he told reporters. "I think that ship has sailed.
"I've left it a little bit too late. But I've been absolutely delighted with the summer I've had and I'm sure the team will be strong enough to get the job done without me."
The five-day biennial event takes place at Gleneagles on September 23.
