Davis Love says that he wouldn't have done anything differently after watching the United States lose in the Ryder Cup.

United States captain Davis Love has insisted that he has no regrets despite watching his side crash to defeat in the Ryder Cup.

The USA led 10-6 going into the final day before Europe completed a remarkable comeback to win the cup 14 1/2 to 13 1/2.

Love is adamant that he would not have done anything different but does admit that his country's performance on the final day cost them.

"I wouldn't have done anything different. They played great," Love said. "We had a couple of matches get flipped there at the end that made it a little easier on them.

"This is a great team, we had a great week. We played together as a team and we said we wanted to win every segment.

"But we got beaten badly in this one, and any time you lose a segment that badly it is going to cost you the Ryder Cup."

Love was a part of the last side to recover from a four-point deficit, at Brookline in 1999.
