Three-way tie at the Italian Open

Francesco Molinari is among three players tied for the lead after two rounds of the Italian Open in Turin.

Francesco Molinari, Simon Thornton and Felipe Aguilar have climbed to the top of the leaderboard at the half-way stage of the Italian Open in Turin.

The Italian carded a second round of 67 to go with yesterday's 68 - as did Thornton - while Aguilar's 66 sees him make it a three-way tie at Golf Club Torino.

David Higgins, Nicolas Colsaerts and Steve Webster share second place on eight-under-par, while Marcus Fraser and Maximilian Kiefer are a shot further back.

A clutch of 16 players are within four shots, including Spanish veteran Jose Maria Olazabal (-5).
