Fabrizio Zanotti wins BMW International Open

Paraguayan Fabrizio Zanotti triumphs at the BMW International after winning a four-way playoff for the title.

Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti has clinched the BMW International Open after winning a four-way playoff for the title in Cologne.

Zanotti, Henrik Stenson, Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Gregory Havret all finished the final round on 19-under-par to force a playoff on another rain-affected day in Germany.

Cabrera-Bello and Havret fell at the second and fourth holes respectively before Zanotti sealed the win when Stenson conceded after failing to make a bunker shot on the fifth.

The victory has seen Zanotti become the first Paraguayan to triumph on the European Tour.
