Greg Chalmers pips Tiger Woods to his second Australian Open on Sunday.

Greg Chalmers held on to win his second Australian Open at the Lakes Golf Club in Sydney on Sunday.

Chalmers, 38, scored a three-under-par 69 for 13-under overall, making two birdies on the back nine after a strong start to secure a one-shot win over fellow Australian and 2006 champion John Senden.

Tiger Woods fired a five-under 67, but finished two strokes behind the eventual winner after falling six shots behind in the previous round.

Chalmers becomes the first left-hander to lift the Stonehaven Cup since he last won in Adelaide in 1998.
