Patrick Reed has increased his lead at the Humana Challenge after the second round of action.
The 23-year-old American shot his second nine-under 63 in a row on Friday at La Quinta, California to finish 36 holes at 18-under-par 126 at the halfway stage of the tournament.
Reed is now two shots clear at the top of the leaderboard, with Brendon Todd in second place at 16-under.
"It's great to have that feeling that you can go out and shoot 63," PGA.com quotes Reed as saying.
"And to actually do it two times in a row shows that what we have done during the off-season and what we're doing now is working."
Ryan Palmer will head into the third round on Saturday placed third in the standings, three strokes behind at 15-under.
