The Argentine tied the lead with Bernd Wiesberger on day one and once again finds himself sharing the load, this time with Tommy Fleetwood, who was five-under for his third round.
Frederik Andersson Hed is third on 15-under-par, while Wiesberger has retained a share of fourth with Stephen Gallacher on 13-under.
Brett Rumford, Henry Scott and Ross Fisher are tied for ninth on 12-under-par.
