Sergio Garcia leads after third round at Thailand Golf Championship

Sergio Garcia is four shots ahead at the Thailand Golf Championship after three rounds.

Sergio Garcia will head into the final round of the Thailand Golf Championship in Chonburi with a four-shot lead.

The 33-year-old hit successive birdies in the third round on Saturday to move onto an 18-under total of 198.

Justin Rose, who was the joint overnight leader with Garcia, failed to maintain his momentum and fell five shots behind the Spaniard.

"I was able to hit some really nice shots and then was able to roll two or three really good putts in," BBC Sport quotes Garcia as saying.

"It was nice to be able to finish birdie, birdie on this difficult finishing stretch."

Sweden's Henrik Stenson and Anirban Lahiri of India are tied for second place in the leaderboard.
